Key reserves

Depth shouldn’t be an issue for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2018-19. They will have six seniors, two juniors, three sophomores and four freshmen on the roster this upcoming season. 6-foot-1 guard Tyree Crump will likely be the first man off the bench for the backcourt. He put up 6.5 points and 1.3 assists per contest as a sophomore in 2017-18. He possesses a solid 3-point shot, something Crean likes, after shooting 33.1 percent from behind the arc last year.

6-foot-6 forward E’Torrion Woolridge should see big minutes in his senior season as well. He didn’t produce a whole lot last season, but appeared in 29 games for Georgia, along with 12 starts.

Crean may not be shy about using newcomers in the rotation. The Bulldogs shot 31.8 percent from 3-point range as a team, 13th in the SEC, a number they’ll need to improve on in 2018-19. The Arkansas Razorbacks led the conference in 2017-18, shooting 40.1 percent from 3-point land as a team.

Two players to keep an eye on are four-star prospects Amanze Ngumezi and Ignas Sargiunas. Ngumezi is a 6-foot-9 forward from Savannah, Georgia ranked 112th in the 2018 recruiting class while Sargiunas is a 6-foot-4 combo guard ranked 124th in this year’s class. Ngumezi put up 14.6 points and 10.0 rebounds per game (15 double-doubles and a triple-double) as a high school senior. Sargiunas is a native of Lithuania with experience on the FIBA circuit as a versatile threat. He was a late signing by Crean, showing he’s already busy on the recruiting circuit.
