After a 10-day layoff, North Carolina Basketball returns to action to face the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday. Here’s a look at three keys to victory.

The 12th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels will face the No. 4 ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday, their third-ranked opponent in the last four games. The Tar Heels will also face the Kentucky Wildcats on Dec. 22, who are currently 19th in the current AP Poll rankings.

Their non-conference has had some easy games and then some tough ones. As January approaches, the tough ones have been there for the Tar Heels. In their last game against the fourth-ranked Michigan Wolverines, North Carolina fell 84-67 on the road.

The roles are reversed a bit as the Tar Heels are the home team this time around, but Gonzaga is coming off a loss of their own against a ranked opponent. The Bulldogs lost this past Sunday to the seventh-ranked Tennessee Volunteers, 76-73, in a back and forth game. After being so close, the Tar Heels are sure to get another competitive game from Gonzaga.

North Carolina has been on a 10-day layoff, which is sure to have produced some interesting results. They will have their hands full on Saturday but head coach Roy Williams should have his guys ready, particularly freshmen Coby White and Nassir Little. Here’s a look at three keys for North Carolina against Gonzaga.
