2. Keep the NC State scoring trio in check

The NC State Wolfpack have scorers of their own in Torin Dorn, C.J. Bryce and Markell Johnson. Dorn is putting up 16.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game as the Wolfpack’s fearless leader this season. He’s shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from 3-point land. He’ll be one threat the Nittany Lions will need to keep in check or things could get out of hand.

Bryce and Johnson are producing 12.3 points and 12.2 points per contest, respectively. Bryce, a transfer from the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks, is a load to bear on the glass, snagging 5.8 rebounds per game. Johnson is their playmaker and distributor at the point guard position, dishing out 4.2 assists per game.

The trio above each brings their own dimension of scoring and playmaking to the hardwood. Dorn, Bryce and Johnson are also shooting over 50 percent from field goal range this season. Penn State should have a busy time guarding them this Saturday. If they struggle, things could get out of hand in a hurry.
