Syracuse Orange
The Syracuse Orange are having an interesting season in 2018-19. They recently lost to the Old Dominion Monarchs at home, 68-62, snapping a five-game winning streak and exposing a few holes on offense. Their frontcourt of Paschal Chukwu, Marek Dolezaj and Bourama Sidibe are having a heck of a time staying out of foul trouble.
Chukwu is recording 3.3 fouls per contest and has fouled out of two games this season. Dolezaj is another player that’s fouled out twice already. He’s averaging 2.8 fouls per game. Sidibe has fouled out once and is registering 2.4 fouls per game. Chukwu is in his final season with the Orange, but Dolezaj and Sidibe are both sophomores.
Wahab is one guy they could use, although Syracuse already has earned the commitment of four players in their 2019 class. 6-foot-10 big man John Bol Ajak is one of four players in the fold along with Brycen Goodine, Quincy Guerrier, and Joseph Girard.
The Orange are unique in that they tend to run a 2-3 zone on defense so needing more than one big man in the rotation isn’t always necessary. With a full slate of prospects on the way already, Wahab could get lost in the shuffle, which makes Syracuse a tough decision for him.
