UNC Basketball is off to a 2-0 start in ACC play. Here’s a look at three keys to staying unbeaten against the Louisville Cardinals.

The North Carolina Tar Heels got a big win on Tobacco Road against the NC State Wolfpack on Tuesday night, 90-82, on the road. With a 12-3 record, the Tar Heels’ early struggles have turned into something positive for conference play as they’ve now won four games in a row. When all eyes were on the Wolfpack to do well, the Tar Heels came out swinging, led by Coby White, Kenny Williams, Cameron Johnson and Luke Maye.

Williams, Johnson and Maye all turned in double-doubles as North Carolina made their victory against NC State look relatively easy, shooting 40 percent from 3-point range and overcoming 23 turnovers in the game. With so much talent in the frontcourt, it will be interesting to see if the Tar Heels can turn it into something to make a run at the ACC title.

The Louisville Cardinals are 10-5 coming off a loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers, 89-86, on the road in overtime on Tuesday night. With a 1-1 record in ACC play, a win will put them above .500 and keep their confidence high.

North Carolina is now 3-2 against ranked opponents this season as their next big test will be the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday. While some of their players haven’t exceeded expectations, the Tar Heels are still in great shape as a top team in the ACC. Here’s a look at three keys to victory for North Carolina against Louisville.
