The ACC Basketball power rankings has a new No. 1 in the Duke Blue Devils but they aren’t the only ones making moves in the ranks.

There’s been a shakeup in the three tiers that are the ACC Basketball power rankings. In Tier 1 where teams have no less than two losses, the Duke Blue Devils have created some distance for themselves away from Virginia and North Carolina.

In Tier 2, where teams have no less than four losses the Virginia Tech Hokies hold a slim grasp of their position, despite being without senior guard Justin Robinson. Behind them though the Louisville Cardinals, Florida State Seminoles and Syracuse Orange are looking to make a move.

Then in Tier 3 where teams have no shot at making it past March, the bottom of the conference sees a shift. While Wake Forest Demon Deacons may not be the worst team, some teams with bad records in league play still pose a viable threat on the schedule.

So far, it’s been an interesting season, especially if you’re the Blue Devils. Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett and Cam Reddish are figuring things out at the right time despite their freshmen status. Williamson is up to 23.8 points per game, Barrett at 22.2 points per game and Reddish at 14.4 points per contest.

Their comeback bid against Louisville is just one of the many highlights in this week’s rankings. See where each team stands in this week’s edition of the ACC basketball power rankings.
