NC State Basketball has won two games in a row entering their matchup with Duke. Here’s a look at three keys to victory for them on Saturday.

The NC State Wolfpack travel to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday evening to face the Duke Blue Devils. With a 6-6 record in ACC play, the Wolfpack are in prime position to pull off an upset, but they have some kinks to work out.

They’ve won two straight games in conference action since losing three games to ranked opponents. In their worst offensive display of the season, they shot 16.7 percent on nine made field goals in a 47-24 loss to Virginia Tech on Feb 2. They followed that loss by giving up a season-high 113 points to the North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill on Feb. 5.

With some of their worst efforts behind them now, it’ll be interesting to see what NC State has learned. They’ve won just one contest against ranked opponents this season, none against ACC foes.

The Wolfpack will need to prove themselves on Saturday behind the efforts of Torin Dorn, C.J. Bryce, Markell Johnson and Braxton Beverly. After all, this group did manage to defeat Duke, 96-85, at home last season. To pull it off again, they’ll need to be laser-focused. Here’s a look at three keys to victory for NC State against Duke.
