The ACC basketball schedule is slowly coming to an end and with a key injury, a top seed could be in jeopardy. Here’s a look at the latest bracketology.

ACC basketball got a surprise of its own on Wednesday night when freshman sensation Zion Williamson went down with an apparent knee injury mere seconds into Duke’s matchup with the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Now, three teams are 11-2 in the ACC. Four teams have nine wins and one team has won eight straight games on their conference schedule since starting off 1-4. Things don’t always go as planned when it comes to the blue bloods in the conference, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other teams looking to make noise.

With Williamson going down with injury, the door of opportunity is open for the Virginia Cavaliers and North Carolina Tar Heels to potentially earn a No. 1 seed. If things play out in their favor, look for either take the Blue Devils’ spot.

Those three teams aren’t the only ones fighting for positioning, either. The Clemson Tigers have some company in the bubble conversation with the NC State Wolfpack while the Virginia Tech Hokies have some work to do given a recent injury to senior guard Justin Robinson. With the final games approaching in ACC action, things are getting interesting. Here’s a look at this week’s ACC basketball bracketology.
