Michigan State Basketball lost people on their bandwagon when the injuries were piling up. Now back at the Final Four, the Spartans deserve more respect.

Technically, each season with different players makes each team different from one another from season to season. Michigan State Basketball has had more talented teams in recent years with former players from those teams now playing in the NBA. The three previous season in particular saw little success in the NCAA tournament for Michigan State. It was written about the 2015-2016 Team struggles and the disappointing ending for the 2017-2018 Team last season’s Spartans.

However, throughout the season many fans, writers, and those who claim to be college basketball experts argued, written, and even preached to those who would listen that this season’s Michigan State would not win the Big Ten title,  that the Spartans would lose in the Big Ten tournament, and laughed and mocked those who thought the Spartans could make a deep run in the NCAA tournament.  However, would they didn’t know is that this year’s team had a different mindset and attitude then some of the more talented teams before them.

Those who continued to doubt Michigan State didn’t realize that this year’s team is fearless and confident as witnessed in their three wins over Michigan and their NCAA Tournament wins against LSU and Duke. Critics of this season’s team had and to a lesser extent still will continue to refer to the Spartan’s two loses to Indiana and or their loss that they suffered on the road at Illinois. They have and will continue to fail to mention that they lost to the Hoosiers in overtime and by one point in Bloomington, Indiana.

They also don’t realize that the team found out prior to playing Indiana that their second leading scorer Joshua Langford was out for the season. Those same critics also won’t admit that when Michigan State played at Illinois, it was their 5th road game in seven games. However, here are the reasons that should have believed and explanations and justifications on why you should believe in Michigan State now.
