Commitments

The Miami Hurricanes have put together quite the group in their 2019 recruiting class. They’ve got some backcourt help on the way for Chris Lykes as well as some help in the frontcourt.

Isaiah Wong is a combo guard and two-way threat that should do well in the Miami Hurricanes backcourt. He produced 22.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game at Monsignor Bonner in Pennsylvania this past season. As a scorer on all three levels, he’s just the help Chris Lykes has needed all along.

Anthony Walker Jr. finished his final season at Brewster Academy in 2018-19. He was part of a rotation that won the National Prep Championship in Connecticut to conclude the season. He’s an explosive 6-foot-8 forward that should make an impact in a depleted frontcourt.

Harlond Beverly is the Hurricanes most recent commit as National Signing Day looms for the 2019 recruiting period. Beverly had a strong senior season as he climbed to 82nd overall in this year’s class.

The Hurricanes have a solid mix of talent on the way and just in the nick of time. After a tough season on the hardwood, things have looked a bit different on the recruiting trail.
