Desmond Cambridge Jr. has had quite the productive career with the Brown Bears, now he’s looking for a change of scenery as an NCAA Basketball graduate transfer.

After finishing up his sophomore season with the Brown Bears, Desmond Cambridge Jr. has announced his intentions to transfer as of April 19. Since then, he’s announced his final three schools and here we’ll breakdown each of his finalists. He’ll have to sit out the 2019-20 NCAA Basketball season with two seasons left to play for his future school.

Cambridge was a productive scorer in two seasons with Brown since joining the team in 2017. He was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Year after putting up 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks per contest in 2017-18. Last season, he produced 15.7 points per game, a team high, along with 3.8 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.0 steals per game.

As a member of the 2017 recruiting class, Cambridge was recruited out of high school heavily by Brown, Dartmouth and Boston University. In two seasons, he’s outgrown his current level and is looking to move up a bit.

Given his production and size at 6-foot-4, Cambridge has shown the ability to be a solid piece in the backcourt. He’s got an opportunity to move to a Power-5 conference now and his prospects are certainly some interesting ones. Here’s a look at the final three schools for Desmond Cambridge Jr.
