Khadim Sy has emerged as one of the nation’s top post players on the junior college circuit. Here’s a look at his top NCAA Basketball suitors.

NCAA Basketball Big man Khadim Sy has emerged as a hot commodity on the junior college market. He put up impressive numbers this past season at Daytona State College, averaging 16.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per contest in 30 appearances.

Sy isn’t a new name to Division I coaches as he’s already spent time with the Virginia Tech Hokies in the ACC. He was a contributing member of their rotation, producing 4.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in 32 appearances (28 starts) during the 2016-17 season before leaving following that year.

Unlike his stint with the Hokies, Sy has developed a whole lot more on the offensive end and then some. He is regarded as one of the top-rated JUCO big men in the 2019 class and will make an instant impact at whatever program he decides to attend.

Now, his recruiting has taken a new turn as he’s in the running for five Power 5 programs across the Division I landscape. Fittingly, there is an ACC team in the mix, but it’s not Virginia Tech. He’s down to the Pittsburgh Panthers, East Carolina Pirates, Ole Miss Rebels, LSU Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Here we’ll analyze where he could end up and why.
