College basketball has seen many one-and-done players since the era began. Let’s take a look at some of the best to leave after one year for the NBA Draft.

February 21, 2006. It was a notable day in the NBA, as the league decided to enact what is currently known as the “One-and-Done Rule”. The rule was established, stating that all drafted players must be at least 19 years old during the calendar year of the NBA Draft and must be at least one year removed from graduation with their high school class.

Since then, there have been a good number of one-and-done players to take the big stage in the college basketball ranks. College basketball fans were blessed with one of the most stellar performances this past season by Duke Blue Devils forward Zion Williamson.

Williamson won the ACC Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year Award, the Wooden Award and Naismith Award in a landslide, as he took the college basketball world by storm.

He averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.8 blocks per contest, while shooting 68 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from behind the arc. He racked up 14 double-doubles and scored 30+ points in five games while putting up one of the most dominant performances in recent NCAA history.

Williamson isn’t the only one-and-done player that set the NCAA on fire, either. Here, we’ll take a look at the best one-and-done players, as the rule looks to be on its way out soon.
