Duke Basketball’s Cam Reddish is one of the biggest enigmas of the 2019 NBA Draft. Here’s a look at the profile for the versatile swingman.
Cam Reddish is one prospect with the biggest intrigue and mystery entering this year’s NBA Draft. On paper, he checks off all the boxes with his height at 6-foot-8, wingspan at 7-foot-1 and guard skill set at 218 pounds. Now leaving Duke Basketball, he’ll just need to show it with his production at the next level.
While with the Duke Blue Devils this past season, Reddish saw his draft stock falter a bit in the shadows of R.J. Barrett and Zion Williamson. He still averaged 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game but he shot just 35.6 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from 3-point land during his lone season of college basketball.
He came in ranked ahead of Williamson and participated in the 2018 McDonald’s All-American Game, Jordan Brand Classic and Nike Hoop Summit prior to his arrival to Duke. He managed to show off his fluidity and versatility as a swingman with solid handle.
Reddish is a capable scorer from behind the arc and has the prototypical size to become an elite defender at the next level. With a chip on his shoulder and a lot to prove, here’s a look at the NBA Draft profile for Duke forward Cam Reddish.
