Draft Stock

Cam Reddish is one prospect in the 2019 NBA Draft who has seen his stock drop slightly during this past college basketball season. He got a taste of criticism while playing third option behind two other star players. In the NBA, as a potential lottery pick, he’ll have a chance to prove himself as a primary option.

Reddish will need to silence the critics who say he’s a streaky shooter. While at Duke, he averaged 4.3 makes from the field on 12.0 field goal attempts per contest. He finished the season second in the ACC in 3-point field goal attempts as well.

He did undergo a procedure to correct a core muscle issue that will sideline him for six weeks until mid-July, where he’ll be expected to be fully healthy. NBA Summer League will show what improvements he’s made in his game and despite his slowed production at Duke, he’s still projected to be a lottery pick.
