NBA Comparisons

P.J. Tucker/John Salmons

P.J. Tucker is a player that played overseas for roughly five seasons before finding his way in the NBA, but the comparison speaks on Horton-Tucker’s potential to play and guard any position on the floor. He’s strong enough to guard some forwards while also being quick enough to guard on the perimeter. Add in his ability to shoot the 3-pointer and the signs are there.

John Salmons was an NBA veteran that made a 14-year career with multiple teams in the league. He found his way as a role player and a starter in some situations with his ability to play and guard three positions on the floor.

Horton-Tucker has the looks of an NBA player but he could bounce around to a few destinations before finding his niche in the league. He’s got the potential to have a long career though with his wingspan and guard skills.
