Weaknesses

Mfiondu Kabengele is considered undersized at the forward position at 6-foot-8. While most prospects with his height are considered the big guards, he’s got some traditional big man traits that will carry him but he’ll also need to shed some myths about him.

Kabengele will need to prove he can defend multiple positions with his size on the perimeter. His shot blocking ability isn’t a question, especially with his 7-foot-3 wingspan. Considering he’s also an explosive and mobile prospect, his ability to defend multiple positions will be something that carries him into bigger roles in the league.

It wouldn’t hurt him to increase his rebounding production at the next level, either. With the Seminoles rotation, he wasn’t forced to rebound as much and was at times on the perimeter on offense. That may not be the case at his next stop in the NBA, so it’s certainly an aspect of his game that could boost his usage.
