Who can Michigan State land this offseason?

If Tillman decides to stay in the NBA draft, Langford chooses not to come back to Michigan State to play next season, or a player decides to transfer, who can Michigan State add to their roster for next season?

One option would have been a graduate transfer from Radford named Carlik Jones

However, he recently committed to Louisville which right now has a scholarship available for Jones in which Michigan State does not currently have open.

However, there are still options transfers available for Michigan State if a scholarship were to become available.

One of those options would be UNLV transfer Amauri Hardy

Hardy did grow up close to East Lansing and he could fill the void left by Cassius Winston and Langford if indeed Langford decides to not come back to Michigan State.

Another transfer option would be Bryce Aiken

Aiken’s is one of the current transfers who by all accounts is very interested in the Spartans. However, time will tell and if he is patient and an available scholarship is available, it would be very conceivable that Izzo would be extremely interested in adding the Harvard transfer.

One final option would be adding a 2020 high school recruit and Michigan State has one player in mind.

Karim Mane a highly ranked 2020 recruit out of Canada is another option for Michigan State

This may be Izzo’s top option as he as traveled to see Mane play in person and would love to have Mane play for the green and white for the 20-21 season. He also possibly would start next to Watts assuming Langford doesn’t come back.

Many options are still on the table for Izzo and the Michigan State program but nothing will be decided until Langford and Tillman make final decisions or a current scholarship player decides to transfer.  Spartan fans need to be patient and let the process play out.
