College Basketball Simulated Tournament and experts predict Michigan State would have won it all

FiveThirtyEight.com with their mock tournament announced that in their tournament the No. 3 Michigan State Spartans defeated No. 1 Kansas with a very close a 1-point victory in their tournament simulation to win the 2020 national championship. Had the Spartans had won this year’s tournament and had it not been canceled, it would have been the program’s third national championship. However, they were not the only media outlet to predict a national championship for Michigan State.

ESPN and bracketologist Joe Lunardi simulated the 2020 NCAA Championship and he had Michigan State in his NCAA tournament simulation had Michigan State defeat Florida State by a final score of 68-63. Lunardi is not the most accurate bracketologists but easily the most famous one as he ESPN’s bracketologist.

Other college basketball sites predicted Michigan State winning the 2020 National Championship as well. For example, Mlive.com’s mock NCAA tournament that was simulated bu ncaagamesim.com, it had an Oklahoma vs. Michigan State final. Michigan State never trailed in an 85-60 win in the simulated national championship game.

Regardless of computer simulations and college experts with their predictions, there are many reasons why Michigan State would have won the 2020 NCAA tournament.
