North Carolina Tar Heels

The sole blue blood on Ingram’s final list is never short on talent. There are plentiful opportunities to pair with other top players in the nation to chase national titles, but the North Carolina program has been missing a specific skillset over the last two seasons: reliable shooting. UNC has been very strong with their frontcourt play and has continued to recruit speedy guards to significantly bolster the roster. However, none of which have been particularly proven shooters from the perimeter.

Ingram is a reliable scoring threat and can hit consistently from all over the floor. While incoming wings Dontrez Stylez and Puff Johnson can develop into bigger scoring threats down the road, Ingram is ready to do so now. He can easily become the focal point of the offense and has the ability to open the floor for the rest of his teammates.

Roy Williams has proven year after year that his players have the green light to shoot. He loves to run up-tempo offenses, which are significantly better with a competent play on the wings. With plenty of depth in the backcourt and frontcourt, Ingram is the missing piece for the Tar Heels to have a viable Final Four shot.
