Five-star NCAA Basketball recruit Jalen Warley is down to a final group of six teams. Which of them represents the best fit for the guard?

Continuing a run of top-tier NCAA Basketball prospects, top-30 prospect Jalen Warley is set to make his own decision this weekend on August 9th. A month ago, the combo guard had an initial list of 10 programs to choose from but has recently dropped four teams among the group.

Unfortunately for Louisville, Ohio State, Maryland, and LSU, they aren’t in the running anymore for the talented guard. A consensus top-30 player that is ranked as a five-star recruit depending on which recruiting service you use, Warley is an outstanding 6’4 perimeter player that can play both guard positions effectively.

His size and 6’9 wingspan help Warley be a great defender that can cause problems for smaller opposing guards. He also can score at all three levels on offense and is a solid shooter overall. While not the elite athlete compared to other class of 2021 guards like Kennedy Chandler, JD Davison, and Jaden Hardy, Warley can more than hold his own on the court and his defensive abilities will neutralize even the best opposing athletes.

With a decision coming, one of the following six programs are going to land a major talent in the 2021 recruiting class; Michigan, Memphis, Virginia, Oregon, Florida State, or Miami. The Norristown, Pennsylvania native would have a huge impact on any of these programs, but some may provide Warley a better situation than others. For an even closer look, here are the pros and cons of the top-30 recruit playing for each finalist.
