Which teams bolstered their NCAA Tournament Bracketology outlook during the first week of the 2020-21 NCAA Basketball season?

One of the great things about NCAA Basketball is that it is never too early to start talking about Bracketology and the NCAA Tournament. Every game, whether it is in November or early March, can potentially have an impact on what that final bracket looks like on selection Sunday. So, if you plan on winning your bracket group at the end of this season, start paying attention now.

The non-conference slate in November and December is just as important, and often more important than the conference schedule at allowing us to see how ready a team is for the NCAA Tournament. The matchups between contenders, David vs. Goliath games, and matchups between teams that normally sit on the bubble, all provide an NCAA Tournament feel early on in the season.

While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic leaves a lot of uncertainty surrounding this NCAA Basketball season, it is best we sit back and enjoy it like we always do. The hardworking players and coaches are still providing the fans with plenty of great basketball. This was evident in week one, as we have already seen plenty of great games, and a few teams strengthened their NCAA Tournament resumes right from the start.

Other teams were not so fortunate during week one, and their bracketology outlook is not trending up. Here, however, we are going to focus on the bracketology winners. A few of these teams pulled off some upsets that have already stirred up the NCAA Basketball world. Another already used week one to show that it is perhaps the most dominant team in the country and worthy of a #1 seed.

With that, here are this week’s biggest Bracketology winners.
