Tyrece Radford sees legal trouble end
Virginia Tech guard Tyrece Radford, who is currently in the transfer portal, is no longer in legal trouble over a positive reading on an ignition interlock device. Radford, found guilty Feb. 3 of first-offense driving under the influence, had two chargers related a May 3 positive reading on his vehicle’s interlock ignition device dropped in Montgomery County General District Court on Monday even though it was revealed at Monday’s hearing that Radford had a second positive reading on his car’s device on July 3.
The 6-2 guard is an athletic slasher who is also an outstanding rebounder although he is not much of a threat from beyond the arc. Radford has a two-year career average of 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 58.2% from the field.
It is possible that Radford will return to Blacksburg for another season but he has moved back to his native Louisiana.
