September is generally a fantastic month for high school seniors to take official visits, and a trio of top 2022 NCAA Basketball prospects — Cason Wallace, KyeRon Lindsay, and Elijah Saunders — did just that this weekend. Wallace, Lindsay, and Saunders also have some exciting trips planned in the coming weeks.

Consensus top-20 guard Cason Wallace heads to Knoxville in two weeks

Five-star  2022 combo guard Cason Wallace, who recently announced his top-4 schools, will head to Tennessee in two weeks (Sept. 17-19) for his final official visits before making a decision sometime before the early signing period (Nov. 7). Wallace is also considering Kentucky, Texas, and UT-San Antonio in addition to the Volunteers.

Texas has made the Richardson (TX) native a priority. Wallace just finished a visit to Austin this past weekend. He bonded with Longhorn players and coaches and took in the Texas football team’s 38-18 victory over UL-Louisiana on Saturday. Wallace visited Kentucky the last weekend of August.

Wallace is a lockdown defender who is very active on that end of the floor.  He is also an outstanding scorer who can put the ball in the basket on all three levels.

Kentucky is considered the favorite for Wallace’s services due to his relationship with the coaching staff, but we see if that changes once he visits Tennessee.

2022 3-+star forward KyeRon Lindsay has three upcoming visits

Consensus top 150 forward KyeRon Lindsay has scheduled upcoming visits with Georgia (Sept. 10-12), UNLV (Sept. 17-19), and Tennessee (Oct. 8). He took a visit to Oklahoma State this past weekend. Lindsay announced his final-8 schools on Aug. 8 and is also considering Arkansas, TCU, Texas A&M, and Tulsa. Arkansas, Georgia, Marquette, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Xavier all offered the Denton (TX) native since July 1.

A late bloomer, Lindsay saw his stock rise after a strong summer. The 6-8 forward has a nice strong and athletic body with decent athleticism. He possesses a high motor and is a strong rebounder who can knock down the mid-range jumper.

Lindsay is ranked as the 91st best prospect in the class by 247Sports Composite, while 247Sports has him at No. 146. Meanwhile, Rivals ranks him No. 104.

Lindsay plans on making a decision around the early signing period in November. He mentioned to 247Sports how he…

"“wants to play for a program that will give him the best shot at receiving a great education while he develops as a player under a coaching staff he has a tight relationship with”."

2022 3-star forward Elijah Saunders to take his final three visits over the next three weeks

Consensus 3-star forward Elijah Saunders will conclude his official visits by the end of the month. Saunders will visit Miami (Sept. 10-12), Virginia Tech (Sept. 17-19), and South Carolina (Sept. 24-26). He took previous visits to San Diego State (Aug. 27-29) and Notre Dame (Sept. 3-5).

The 6-8 forward is versatile, capable of playing either the 4 or 3, and can really shoot it from the 3-point line and in. He is a tough, physical player who rebounds the ball well and does the little things.

Saunders is ranked as a 3-star prospect by 247 Sports (No. 125) and Rivals (No. 145).

"“How I feel about the school, and the fit will play a role,” Saunders told 247Sports about what he is looking for in a school. “Once I get on campus, I might get a certain feeling for the players, the coaches, and the overall environment. So I am excited to see these places with my own eyes.”"
