Gonzaga basketball was dominant as ever in 2020-21, going 32-1, winning the WCC Regular Season crown and Conference Tournament under head coach Mark Few. In a word, they handled business, earning the top seed in the NCAA Tournament field and making all the way to the National Final before falling short against Baylor Basketball, 86-70.

The Bulldogs played an exciting brand of basketball this past season, despite the final result, leading the nation in scoring all season long with 91.0 ppg but with Jalen Suggs, Corey Kispert, and Joel Ayayi all off to the NBA, head coach Mark Few and company will have to reload.

Now, they’ll look to do it again, this time with some new talent set to make waves on the horizon. With five newcomers including a few highly-rated recruits in the 2021 recruiting class, Gonzaga basketball has the potential to be very good once again.

How well the Bulldogs develop their team chemistry will determine just how far they’ll go this season. Their top returning name, Drew Timme, did well to keep things together with talent around. With more talent this upcoming year, he’ll look to do more damage and return to the NCAA title game. Here’s a look at the projected starters and depth chart for Gonzaga basketball heading into the 2021-22 season.
