George Mason basketball is set to turn things around under new head coach Kim English this season. They’ve got a good number of new faces set to make their mark in Atlantic 10 basketball.

English has already proven some proven coaching power pulling Josh Oduro and brings along Davonte Gaines from Tennessee basketball.  With six newcomers on the slate, they’ll look to create a new identity in 2021-22.

Here’s a look at the 2021 recruiting class as George Mason looks to bounce back in Year 1 under new head coach Kim English.

7. Mike Gray

Mike Gray is an in-state recruit out of Blue Ridge School set to make his mark with George Mason basketball. He had a brief senior season, averaging 15.6 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 4.1 apg and 1.8 spg before things were cut short after eight games.

He uses all of his big frame to make an impact on both ends of the floor and is quite the athlete in the open court.

He’s an underrated 6-foot-2 point guard that has an opportunity to have quite the career for himself in his debut season. Look for him to carve a role as a reserve in the lineup in 2021-22.
