4. Kaden Perry

Kaden Perry is the second freshman in the Gonzaga basketball 2021 recruiting class set to make his college debut this year. He’s a four-star 6-foot-8 power forward prospect that ranks 56th nationally and second in the state of Washington, according to 247Sports. As another Top 100 recruit, he’s yet another name with the potential to develop into quite a two-way presence in the paint.

He averaged 23.7 ppg, 15.3 rpg and 3.3 bpg at Battle Ground High in his final season of high school ball. He’ll be a reserve prospect to keep an eye on given his ability to fly around and use his length to make his presence felt around the rim.

3. Rasir Bolton

Rasir Bolton finds himself joining the Gonzaga basketball ranks after spending two seasons with Iowa State from 2019-21. As a freshman, he spent the 2018-19 season with Penn State before moving on.

He’s an explosive guard that uses his athleticism and quickness to make his presence felt on the floor on all three levels. Across 51 games (50 starts), he averaged 15.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.3 apg, and 1.2 spg while shooting 32.8 percent from 3-point land and 42.7 percent from the field.

Bolton put up 15.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 3.9 apg, and 1.3 spg this past season as a member of the Cyclones. While this marks as the third destination of his career, he’s still proven he’s effective, so far in two Power 5 conferences in the Big 12 and Big Ten. The potential impact he’ll have in the WCC may be one of the more underrated storylines of 2021-22.
