Wing/Forward

Trayce Jackson-Davis looks to keep things on the up-and-up at the wing/forward spot in the starting rotation. He made his return to Indiana basketball much to the joy of Coach Woodson and is a leading name in this year’s NBA Draft as well.

He poured in 19.1 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 1.4 apg, and 1.4 bpg this past season to earn All-Big Ten second-team honors. As he improves his all-around game, look for him to lead the scoring attack once again with a stronger backcourt in tow.

Miller Kopp (Northwestern) makes an in-conference move to the Hoosiers out of the transfer portal, giving them some length and more perimeter shooting in 2021-22. He’s a 6-foot-7, 215-pound prospect with nice versatility to play inside and out.

Kopp shot 36 percent from 3-point range across three seasons with Northwestern basketball from 2018-21. In 2019-20, he shot a career-high 39.6 percent from 3-point land. He averaged 9.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, and 1.2 apg across 87 appearances (74 starts) during his career. Given his pedigree for shooting the ball on the perimeter, he should add some depth on the wing.

Jordan Geronimo is a third name that should make an appearance at the 3-spot in the lineup. He made 21 appearances for the Hoosiers this past year, producing 2.2 ppg and 1.8 rpg while shooting 40 percent from the perimeter. Look for him to carve a role in the rotation.
