Key reserves

Forward – Jailyn Ingram, Grad. Student

Jailyn Ingram is another transfer name that should make an impact in the Georgia basketball rotation, and could even start before the season’s end. He put up 10.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg, and 1.5 apg across 122 games (105 starts) from 2016-21. He should see heavy minutes off the bench given his defensive energy, experience, and versatility.

Guard – Noah Baumann, RS Senior

Noah Baumann should improve the Bulldogs perimeter shooting off the bench. He’s a 6-foot-6 sharpshooter that’s shot 43.5 percent from behind the arc  and knocked down 1.6 3-pointers per contest through stops with the San Jose State Spartans and USC Trojans

Forward – Dalen Ridgnal, Junior

Dalen Ridgnal is another JUCO recruit set to make an impact in the Georgia Bulldogs rotation. The 6-foot-6, 200-pound forward recorded 20 double-doubles and posted  21.1 ppg, 12.8 rpg, and 2.2 bpg while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 38.7 percent from behind the arc at Cowley College. He’ll look to bring a similar presence in the frontcourt in 2021-22 in the SEC basketball ranks.

Guard – Cam McDowell, Freshman

Cam McDowell is one freshman set to get some time in the Georgia basketball rotation given his size, pedigree, and playmaking ability. He’s got a big guard prototype at 6-foot-5 out of McEachern High in the state where he averaged 21.3 ppg, 8.2 rpg, and 5.4 apg as a senior. He’ll look to provide similar tangibles in his college debut.

Center – Tyrone Baker, Freshman

Tyrone Baker is the other freshman in the Bulldogs 2021 recruiting class in a position to get some minutes early in his career in the frontcourt. He’s a 6-foot-11 and 210-pound big man with the potential to carve out a role for himself in the paint if he can hold his own in Year 1. He averaged 15.5 ppg, 11.4 rpg, and 3.0 bpg during his senior year of high school.
