Schedule outlook

Butler basketball kicks their season off on Nov. 9 against IUPUI with two more games against Central Arkansas (Nov. 12) and Troy (Nov. 13) before facing some tough squads in non-conference action.

First, they’re squad off against Michigan State in the Gavitt Tip-Off games then travel to the Maui Invitational in Las Vegas where they’ll face Houston (Nov. 22) then Texas A&M/Wisconsin (Nov. 23). Oregon, St. Mary’s, Notre Dame and Chaminade are the teams that make up the other side, with the final game coming on Nov. 24.

After the Maui Invitational, Butler basketball hosts Saginaw Valley State (Nov. 30) before kicking off the month of December by traveling to Oklahoma (Dec. 7) in the Big East/Big 12 Battle. Eastern Illinois (Dec. 11) is a light tune-up game before they face Purdue (Dec. 18) in the Crossroads Classic in what should be a good game to round out the non-conference slate.

Big East basketball kicks off on the road against St. John’s (Dec. 23) before bouncing back home on Dec. 29 to face DePaul and going back on the road to kick off the New Year against UConn (Jan. 1).

Seton Hall (Jan. 4) and Xavier (Jan. 7) will make visits followed by two road games against Georgetown (Jan. 13) and Villanova (Jan. 16).

The Bulldogs will face UConn again on Jan. 20 at home, travel to Providence on Jan. 23 then host two home games against Creighton (Jan. 26) and Georgetown (Jan. 29).

They’re back on the road on Feb. 2 against Xavier then return home on Feb. 5 against St. John’s. It’s home and away for the next couple with Creighton (Feb. 8) on the road, Marquette (Feb. 12) at home, DePaul (Feb. 15) on the road, Providence (Feb. 20) at home, and Seton Hall (Feb. 23) on the road before they close things out against Marquette (Feb. 26) on the road and Villanova (March 5) at home.
