Schedule outlook

Auburn basketball will ease their way into things with their non-conference schedule being a bit light, which helps considering they’ll be searching for a new identity. They’ll open the season on Nov. 9 against Morehead State and ULM (Nov. 12) both at home before their first road game against USF (Nov. 19).

After those three games, they’ll head to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis from Nov. 24-26. They’ll kick things off against UConn on Nov. 24. They’ll face Loyola-Chicago/Michigan State on Nov. 25 then Arizona State/Baylor/VCU/Syracuse on Nov. 26 depending on results.

They’ll return home to kick off December with UCF on Dec. 1 then Yale on Dec. 4. before another Power 5 matchup against a new-look Nebraska squad on Dec. 11 in Atlanta for Holiday Hoopsgiving.

North Alabama (Dec. 14) at home, St. Louis (Dec. 18) on the road and Murray State (Dec. 22) at home will round out the rest of the non-conference slate before SEC basketball action begins.

Conference action kicks off against LSU on Dec. 29 at home, then on the road against South Carolina (Jan. 4) then back home against Florida (Jan. 8).

Two straight road games against Alabama (Jan. 11) and Ole Miss (Jan. 15) before two home games against Georgia (Jan. 19) and Kentucky (Jan. 22) before another road game against Missouri (Jan. 25).

The conference schedule pauses briefly for the Big 12/SEC Challenge as Auburn basketball squares off against Oklahoma on Jan. 29. In last year’s challenge, the Tigers fell to No. 2-ranked Baylor, 84-72.

February sparks back up the conference slate with Alabama (Feb. 1) at home, Georgia (Feb. 5), and Arkansas (Feb. 8) on the road before two more home games against Texas A&M (Feb. 12) and Vanderbilt (Feb. 16).

In their final five conference games, three will come on the road, starting with Florida (Feb. 19) then Ole Miss (Feb. 23) at home followed by Tennessee (Feb. 26) and Mississippi State (March 2) on the road before closing things out at home against South Carolina (March 5).
