Oregon Ducks (15-7) (8-3 Pac-12)

Oregon basketball got off to a rough start to the 2021-22 season, going 6-6 in their first 12 contests before winning nine of their last 10 games as the final stretch of Pac-12 basketball games approaches. Now, they’re second in the conference standings and possess an interesting NCAA Tournament resume.

The Ducks have been led by the veteran leadership of Will Richardson (17.6 ppg) and Jacob Young (14.5 ppg) in conference play as they look to peak at the right time this season. De’Vion Harmon and Quincy Guerrier have proven to be solid additions to their roster out of the transfer portal as well.

Harmon is pouring in 11.0 ppg, 2.9 apg, and 2.8 rpg while Guerrier is at 10.1 ppg and 5.5 rpg. They’ve landed on their feet as contributors in the starting lineup.

They’re 2-4 against Quadrant I teams, 3-1 against Quadrant 2 teams, and 3-2 against teams in Quadrant III heading into the final eight conference games. With Arizona, UCLA, and USC among those remaining teams, there’s room to improve their record among Q1 opponents before the conference tournament tips off in early March. After a bumpy start to the year, they look like a lock for an at-large bid.
