Jaelin Llewellyn,  6’2 Point Guard, Michigan Wolverines

Jaelin Llewellyn is another point guard coming from the mid-major ranks looking to make a splash after spending the past three seasons with the Princeton Tigers. He was another top target by plenty of high-major programs when he put his name in the transfer portal and will have two years left to make an impact as a member of the Michigan Wolverines.

Llewellyn is an underrated floor general that gets downhill with his quickness and makes things happen in the air with his athleticism around the rim. The two-time All-Ivy League posted 15.7 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and 2.5 apg while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 38.6 percent from behind the arc.

He should certainly improve the Wolverines’ perimeter attack with his ability to knock down shots from 3-point land this upcoming season. Michigan finished ninth this past season in 3-point field goal percentage (33.9 percent) and Llewellyn comes in after averaging 2.3 makes on 5.9 attempts from the arc.

While he can run the show on offense, he can also find his own offense off the bounce and won’t hesitate to make opponents pay with what he can do. They did acquire former Duke sharpshooter Joey Baker out of the transfer portal, and he should see his role increase as a perimeter threat, but Llewellyn is the prospect to keep an eye on when looking at potential overall success.
