ACC Basketball: Top transfer addition for each team for 2022-23 season
Brevin Galloway, 6’2 Guard, Clemson Tigers
After spending the bulk of his career under head coach Earl Grant at College of Charleston and Boston College, Brevin Galloway makes the leap to ACC-foe Clemson, moving a bit further south this time to conclude his career. It’s worth noting, that he’s a native of Anderson, South Carolina.
Galloway fared decently at Boston College in 2021-22, posting 8.3 ppg, 1.4 apg, and 1.1 spg, though his biggest struggle was shooting the 3-ball. He shot just 25.6 percent from 3-point land while putting up his lowest scoring output since 2018-19, back when he was just a sophomore.

He’ll look to make a fresh start in the Clemson rotation and be looked upon to lead the way in the playmaking department as well. He’ll have to adjust his game a bit after turning in an 88.7 offensive rating this past season if he hopes to stay on the floor as one of their veterans in the backcourt or things could end on a sour note.
He shot 41.9 percent from 3-point range back in 2020-21 but that was before an ACL tear cut his final season short at College of Charleston. He re-aggravated that same knee this past season, missing eight games as a member of the Golden Eagles. Hopefully, he can remain healthy and effective in his final season of eligibility.
