Warren Washington, 7’0 Center/Power Forward, Arizona State Sun Devils

Warren Washington is an emerging big man to get to know in the Arizona State Sun Devils’ frontcourt in 2022-23. He’s a sizeable prospect at 7-foot that makes his return to PAC-12 competition after beginning his career with Oregon State in 2018.

Washington and former Nevada teammate Desmond Cambridge Jr. will both make the move from the MWC to the PAC-12 in the Sun Devils’ rotation as they book look to make their presence felt, especially Washington on the rebounding front.

Arizona State finished eighth in the conference in rebounds per game (34.7). Washington’s addition should change that ranking soon enough given his ability to take up space and protect the rim on the interior.

He really came into his own last season with the Wolf Pack, averaging 10.5 ppg, 6.6 rpg and 1.2 bpg on 60.8 percent shooting from the field while finishing 10th in the MWC in blocks (27) and 11th in offensive rebounds (51). He’ll look to turn things around in a major way for a Sun Devils squad that went 14-17 this past season.

After snagging a career-high four double-doubles in 2021-22, Washington looks ready to turn a corner as a potential anchor in the Sun Devils’ frontcourt.
