Key Reserves

Henry Coleman III, Forward/Wing

Coleman could potentially move to the bench but he’ll be their Sixth Man, so to speak, given his versatility at the forward and wing spots. He’s capable of defending a number of different roles with his size and mobility at 6-foot-7 and can help provide the squad with depth in the frontcourt. If anybody gets in foul trouble, they could have to play small ball with him at the 4 or 5 spot alongside Julius Marble or Wildens Leveque.

Eli Lawrence, Guard

Lawrence is another addition out of the transfer portal who should contribute to the Texas A&M backcourt. He was a second-team All-Conference UA performer in 2022-23, posting 12.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.4 apg and 1.1 spg on 34 percent shooting from behind the arc and 42.1 percent shooting from the field. He’s another versatile threat at 6-foot-5 who could fill a number of roles for the Aggies’ backcourt given his ability to defend and knock down shots on the perimeter.

Andersson Garcia, Forward/Wing

The 6-foot-7 native of the Dominican Republic is just getting acclimated to the SEC’s style of play and is due to grow into a bigger role after producing 3.2 ppg and 4.4 rpg across 34 appearances in 2022-23 in his first season with the Aggies. He’s entering his fourth year of experience in the conference. There’s a need for a frontcourt reserve who can rebound and protect the paint, hopefully, he can meet it.

Manny Obaseki, Guard

Obaseki has developed nicely over the past two seasons in the Aggies backcourt. He really grew into his role off the bench, appearing in 20 games in 2022-23 with numbers of 5.2 ppg, 1.4 rpg and 1.0 apg on 38.5 percent shooting from deep. He’ll be another heavily relied-upon presence off the bench in 2023-24.
