Key Reserves

Johnathan Lawson, Guard/Wing

Lawson should give the Bluejays some versatility in the backcourt with his length and abilities at 6-foot-6. He’s capable of operating at a few different positions and can stroke it from behind the arc. He shot 41.3 percent from deep with the Memphis Tigers while averaging 3.4 ppg, 1.5 rpg and 1.2 apg in 2022-23. He averaged 6.7 ppg on 6-of-10 from 3-point land off the bench during their 2023 Bahamas Tour this past August. With an opportunity for more minutes on the horizon, look for him to potentially find a role with the Bluejays as a Sixth Man candidate.

Francisco Farabello, Guard

Farabello is another returner for the Bluejays who should give them solid minutes at both guard roles as a backup. He’s a 6-foot-3 guard who appeared in all 34 games this past season, posting 3.0 ppg and 1.3 rpg across 15.7 minutes per contest. He’s another reserve name with Sixth Man potential given his veteran experience as a fifth-year senior.

Mason Miller, Forward/Wing

Miller returns looking to compete for minutes in the lineup at the forward/wing role given his prowess on the perimeter. He shot 37 percent from 3-point range as a redshirt freshman this past season. At 6-foot-9, he’s continued to show his development with Creighton. He put up 9.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg on 6-of-12 shooting from behind the arc during their 2023 Bahamas Tour this past August.

Fredrick King, Center

King is a big man who continues to grow in the Bluejays frontcourt at the backup center role. He’s a native of the Bahamas and a member of NBA Academy Latin America who continues to climb up the radar with his two-way abilities around the rim. He finished with 10.0 ppg and 6.0 rpg in his return to his native country during their 2023 Bahamas Tour this past August.  He’ll have more opportunities on the table to operate in the lineup in his sophomore season.
