6. Utah Jazz: Tre Johnson

Latif Love: B

Johnson is the best shooter in the class. He has a diverse shooting profile and was able to be relatively efficient in one of the toughest conferences in NCAA history.  Johnson is underrated as a passer due to his shooting ability, but he did a good job of creating for others while limiting turnovers.

Johnson struggled to stay locked in on defense and finish at the rim. He profiles a secondary or tertiary scoring option that can be created for others. The wizards could be building something special.

Joey LeMaster: B

I love Tre Johnson as a prospect. He is the best shooter in the draft. He got the opportunity to be a walking bucket as a Texas Longhorn, and he capitalized, scoring on all levels of the court.

Johnson is a criminally underrated passer. With his long length, he can play as a guard or forward.

I just can not support the fit in Washington. Johnson and Bub Carrington are both incredible bucket-getters. However, they can not defend if their lives depend on it. Washington has a dilemma on their hands trying to figure out this puzzle.

Thankfully for Johnson and Carrington, they have incredible leaders in that locker room. Kris Middleton, CJ McCollum and Marcus Smart will look to help them grow into NBA talents.

If Johnson is allowed to play his game, he will be one of the best scorers in the league.
