Well, we have reached February. For many of these teams, this is the month that the dreadful season comes to an end. All of these teams have had long seasons and will look to wrap it up, and find some kind of positive vibes late in the season. Without further ado, here are the bottom 10 teams in all of college basketball, with five more knocking on the door.
356. Binghamton Bearcats (5-18):
The Bearcats remain in the bottom 10 list with just one America East win, and five wins on the season. The Bearcats are acoming off a home win over Bryant, in an effort to get out of the rankings. That win snapped their seven game losing streak. On the season, Binghamton is scoring 67.1 points per game and allowing opponents to score 75.2. Jeremiah Quigley is the top scorer for the Bearcats with 13.5 points per game, and also 6.4 assists. The Bearcats are at UMBC on Thursday and NJIT on Saturday.
357. South Carolina State Bulldogs (6-16):
The Bulldogs are trying to work their way out of the bottom 10 with their 4-2 MEAC record. The Bulldogs are 6-16 on the season, and in the upper half of their standings. The Bulldogs have won three straight games and four out of their last five. The lone loss during that time was at home over Norfolk State. The Bulldogs are on the road at Howard on Saturday. Following that game, they are at home against Morgan State, Coppin State and NC Central. The Bulldogs' final four games of the season are all on the road. Is ittime to remove the Bulldogs from the bottom 10?
358. Rider Broncs (3-18): 361
The Broncs moved from 361 to 358 with a home win over Saint Peter’s. That is now three wins on the season. The win snapped their four-game losing streak. Flash Burton is the top scorer for the Broncs with 14.2 points per game. The team is scoring 64.7 per game and allowing opponents to score 76.6. The Broncs are one of the worst passing teams in the country, averaging just 10.7 assists per game. Rider is at Marist on Thursday night and then home for games against Merrimack and Mount St. Mary’s.
359. Chicago State Cougars (3-19):
The Cougars were 364 last week. With a win, they made their way to 359. After losing by two on the road at Mercyhurst, the Cougars came back and beat the same team by four. It was their first NEC win of the season. The Cougars are scoring 65.6 points per game, which is near the bottom of the country. The defense is allowing teams to score 79.3 per game. Chicago State will play at Central Connecticut State on Thursday and at New Haven on Saturday.
360. Western Illinois Leathernecks (4-19):
This Leathernecks team moved from 357 to 360. They are not competitive and only have a win over North Dakota, when it comes to division I opponents. Since that win, the Leathernecks have dropped 12 straight games. The most recent loss for Western Illinois was at home, and they scored just 44 points in the game. Western Illinois is at Tennessee Tech on Thursday night and then will hit up Tennessee State on Saturday. The next time they are at home is February 10th against Eastern Illinois.
361. UL Monroe Warhawks (3-20):
The Warhawks are making their way down the list. They started at 358 last week, and did not win a game, so have dropped to 361. The WarHawks allowed Marsall to nail 26 three point shots in a game last month, where they finished with 115 points. UL Monroe on the season is allowing teams to score 82.6 points per game. On the offensive side, the Warhawks are scoring just 71.4 per game. UL Monroe will host Ball State on Saturday, and then head on the road for games at Arkansas State and Texas State.
362. Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs (3-20):
3-20 out of the Big South, the Runnin’ Bulldogs are some kind of mess. They are last in the conference standings, with just 1 win in 9 games. Gardner-Webb beat SC Upstate, but then went on the road and got beaten by 19 at UNC Asheville. They were onceagain uncompetitive on Wednesda. The top scorer for the Runnin’ Bulldogs has been Jacob Hogwarth, with 10.7 points per game. Next, Gardner-Webb will play on the road at Presbyterian on Saturday, and then come home and host Winthrop and High Point.
363. Kansas City Roos (4-20):
The Roos fell from 363 to 363. They got good news with the addition of their new head coach Mark Turgeon, the former Maryland head coach. The current squad has dropped seven straight games, including a 35-point loss on the road at St. Thomas. Next up, following their home overtime los against South Dakota on Wednesday night, is a road game at Oral Roberts. That’s a game the Roos may be able to grab, as they are the lone team in the conference without a win.
364. Coppin State Eagles (3-21):
At the bottom of the MEAC, the Coppin State Eagles are coming off a home loss to Howard. It was by 19 points, which came after a nine point loss to Moregon State. The Eagles are scoring just 65.6 points per game, and allowing opponents to score nearly 85 per game. The Eagles do not have a single scoring averaging double digits on the season. Coppin State will next home Delaware State on Saturday, before heading to North Carolina Central on Valentine’s Day. The Eagles dropped from 363 to 364.
365. Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils (1-21):
Pretty much been known as the worst team in college basketball all season, this Delta Devils team has not done anything to convince anyone any different this season. The Delta Devils own just the single win, and have not been super competitive in recent tilts. The Delta Devils are 1-21, and allowing opponents to score more than 85 points per game. They are 0-8 in league play, with a home game against Jackson State upcoming. They also have Alcorn State on their schedule, so maybe,, just maybe they can find a way.

- Air Force Falcons (3-18)
- Alcorn State Braves (4-17)
