6) Maliq Brown | 6'10 Forward/Center | Duke Blue Devils

Maliq Brown checks in at sixth on the list fresh off an ACC All-Defense selection with the Syracuse Orange. He'll be one of a few new faces to know with the Duke Blue Devils this season as they utilized the transfer portal a bit in their quest for another NCAA Tournament bid.

Brown is yet another ACC player moving teams this offseason as he moves to Durham in hopes of winning a National Title. He averaged 9.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.8 assists per game with the Orange this past season, shooting 69.8 percent from the field as well.

Shades of Brian Zoubek emerge, though Brown's mobility and conditioning are rated a lot higher, but Blue Devils' fans get the picture. Brown has shown he's hard to score against and his continued development should make him a presence offensively this season. He gives Duke an opportunity to be a very good interior team in 2024-25.
