ACC Basketball: Top 20 transfers heading into 2024-25 season
1) Terrence Edwards Jr. | 6’6 Guard/Wing | Louisville Cardinals
Terrence Edwards Jr. leads a talented list of names transferring into the ACC as the top name to know. He brings a different pedigree to the Louisville Cardinals rotation as he looks to lead first-year head coach Pat Kelsey's squad.
He joins the Cardinals after winning the 2023-24 Sun Belt Player of the Year behind production of 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists per game on 34.3 percent shooting from 3-point land and 42.7 percent shooting from the field. He's a dynamic prospect at 6-foot-6 with a lot of hype and NCAA Tournament experience surrounding him as he joins the fray looking to make Louisville a contender again.
The featured names are E, Huntley-Hatfield, and Pryor, but they're just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. They're an important trio that Coach Kelsey needs to get going, with Edwards being the most important piece given his versatility and energy on the hardwood. His ability to attack the paint and make plays for others will be an important piece to the Cardinals' success in 2024-25.
