12) Ven-Allen Lubin | 6’8 Forward | UNC Tar Heels

Ven-Allen Lubin makes his return to the conference with the UNC Tar Heels. He joins the Tar Heels after spending a season in the SEC with the Vanderbilt Commodores in 2023-24. He began his career in 2022-23 with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the ACC.

The 6-foot-8 forward improved his all-around production with the Commodores in the SEC, posting 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor. He started in all 26 of his appearances as well.

Lubin shouldn't have a difficult time adjusting to the speed of the ACC now that he's in his third year heading into 2024-25. He'll be looked upon to provide some defensive support in the painted area and as a scoring threat for their frontcourt with his addition.

11) Jalen Blackmon | 6’3 Guard | Miami Hurricanes

Jalen Blackmon joins the Miami Hurricanes after quite the run in the A-Sun with the Stetson Jaspers over the past two seasons. He was a First Team All-A-Sun performer in 2022-23, but last season, he really stole the show.

Blackmon averaged 21.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on 38.1 percent shooting from behind the arc in 2023-24, finishing as a First Team All-A-Sun selection but he didn't stop there.
He took home A-Sun Conference Tournament MVP after exploding for 43 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the field in the Championship Game.

He's an explosive scorer who should change the dynamic in a backcourt who underachieved in 2022-23. Look for his name to play a role in their success as a key portal addition.
