Boo Buie looks to be in full effect for the Wildcats

Fifth-year senior Boo Buie is back for the Northwestern Wildcats and he's a huge reason for their 10-2 start to the season. They've won six of their last seven games as the Legacy of Boo Buie continues to build. He's averaging 17.9 points, 4.9 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 steals on 33.8 percent shooting from deep and 44.4 percent from the floor. The 6-foot-2 guard is beginning to play some of his best basketball this season and is due for a strong conference performance after earning second-team All-Conference honors this past year.

Buie went off for 31 points along with nine assists, four rebounds and two steals to lead the Wildcats to a 92-88 overtime victory over Purdue for their first victory in Big Ten action back on Dec. 1. After giving the Boilermakers their first loss of the season, Buie looks to be in full effect in his final season of college basketball.

The senior guard already has five 20+ points and a 30+ point game under his belt. He's already put the conference on notice that every game will be a battle and with a top defense behind him once again, Buie should be a handful to deal with in the Big Ten once again this January.
