Gonzaga vs. Purdue TV schedule and announcers for Sweet 16

After last season’s debacle in the NCAA Tournament, the Purdue Boilermakers cruised to the Sweet 16, knocking off Grambling State and Utah State by a combined 67 points in the first weekend of March Madness. Now, Matt Painter’s Boilermakers will match up against a team that has been to the Sweet 16 in each of the last nine tournaments.
Mark Few’s Gonzaga Bulldogs have become the model of consistency, not just dominating the WCC for a spot in the big dance, but even in years like this one when they lose the conference tournament, still managing to advance to the regional semifinals. It was a shaky start to the season without Drew Timme, and integrating transfers Ryan Nembhard and Graham Ike, but the Zags managed to get to 24 regular season wins and have added three more in the postseason, despite losing to Saint Mary’s in the WCC final.
Part of the reason the Zags got off to a slow start was facing Purdue in the Maui Invitational. Back on November 20, the Boilermakers and Zach Edey handed Gonzaga its first loss of the year, 73-63. Now, four months later, we finally get the rematch for a spot in the Midwest Regional Final. Here’s how you can catch the action from Detroit.
