Cody Williams - 6'8 Forward/Wing - Colorado Buffaloes

Head coach Tad Boyle has his next potential star in freshman Cody Williams. He's already shown flashes of his potential this past summer as a member of the Team USA U19 National Team. He put up 7.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest in the 2023 FIBA Men's U19 World Cup as Team USA went 5-2 and finished fourth place in the overall field.

Williams, another former McDonald's All-American, has made quite the splash with the Colorado Buffaloes in the Pac-12. The Buffaloes are 5-2 as Williams has shown off his efficiency in the frontcourt, putting up 14.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game on 62.3 percent shooting from the field.

He's finished with back-to-back games of 21 points to match his career-high scoring output and knocked down a season-best two 3-pointers in their 91-66 victory over Pepperdine back on Dec. 3. He also made a career-best nine field goals on a career-high 13 shot attempts in that one.

Williams has shown he's not afraid to step out and shoot the ball on the perimeter as the season has progressed. He's currently shooting 6-for-10 from behind the arc while averaging 1.4 attempts per contest from deep through seven games. He's seemingly improving by the game for Colorado.
