The Boilermakers have been led by head coach Matt Painter and are on the hunt for their program’s first-ever national title.

Clingan and UConn defeated Stetson, Northwestern, San Diego State, Illinois, and Alabama on their journey to the title game.

The Huskies are hoping to become the first back-to-back national champs since the Florida Gators did it in 2006 and 2007.

Both teams traded the No. 1 national ranking throughout this season and have had impressive wins throughout the year. UConn currently sits at 36-3 overall while Purdue has a 34-4 record.

The game is being played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. ET. The losers will go home as runner-ups while the winners will take home the title.
