March Madness is officially here as Wednesday features a loaded day of conference tournament play. 40 games are scheduled to take place with the first tip at 11:30 am ET and action out west going well into Thursday morning. We stayed hot last Saturday going 7-2 with my best bets and will look to carry that momentum into this week.
Here are the best bets in college basketball on Wednesday, March 12th of Champ Week.

North Carolina/Notre Dame Over 149.5 (-110), 2:30p.m. ET
North Carolina will control the pace in this game playing up tempo which favors their high powered offense. The Tar Heels are averaging 87.7 ppg in their last seven contests and have hit the over in eight of their last ten. Notre Dame is certainly not the best scoring team, as they are coming off a game where they put up just 56 points, but UNC is not the most intimidating team on the defensive end. The Irish have put up some points in ACC play against the lesser defensive teams and have the leading scorer in the conference in Markus Burton. Even if the Irish struggle I believe UNC could get close to, or even surpass, 90 in this one to help get over this number.
UNLV -13.5 (-105) vs Air Force, 7p.m. ET
This is less of a bet on UNLV and more of a pick against Air Force. The Falcons have not played anyone close at all lately and are about as dead as a dog can get in the betting world. Since late January they have a record of 1-11 with ten of those losses coming by double digits and eight of them by 20+. UNLV beat this team by 25 points a month ago and held all Falcons not named Luke Kearney to 35 points combined. I like the Rebels to run away in this one with ease.
Rutgers Moneyline (-110) vs USC, 8:30p.m. ET
I love the idea of Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper in tournament play and especially in this first round matchup. USC has been struggling as of late going 1-6 which includes a double digit loss to the Scarlet Knights. While Rutgers does not play good defense, they surely can score the ball and I do not think USC can keep up with them on that end. Being the Big Ten tournament this one will be played in Indianapolis and the Trojans have struggled going 2-5 when traveling out east and 0-4 in the eastern time zone. I like Rutgers to pick up a win here and go on a run in this Big Ten bracket. I also am a fan of the Over at 153.5.
