06. Kentucky Wildcats (10-2)

This week wasn’t so kind to the Wildcats. Kentucky dropped its second game of the season in shocking fashion. Kentucky only managed 65 points against Ohio State, shooting 29.8 percent from the floor. The Wildcats are still one of the better teams in the conference but losing as the No. 4 team in the country to an unranked team is going to be a cause for concern, especially when it's a 20-point loss. Kentucky is idle this week but has one more non-con game against Brown to get back on track before SEC play.

05. Oklahoma Sooners (11-0)

Oklahoma is one of four undefeated teams left in the country and is 11-0 for the first time since the 2015-16 season. After an easy start the the season the Sooners have played and beaten six power conference teams in seven games, with wins over a ranked Arizona, Louisville, and in-state rival Oklahoma State. In their most recent game, the Sooners took down No. 24 Michigan 87-86. Freshman star Jeremiah Fears has scored in double figures every game this year and dropped a career-high 30 points in the win over Michigan.

04. Alabama Crimson Tide (9-2)

Alabama picked up another win this week but looked terrible on the defensive end in the process. The Tide traveled to North Dakota to take on the Fighting Hawks and gave up 40 points to Treysen Eaglestaff. Luckily for Alabama, Mark Sears and Grant Nelson had excellent offensive performance scoring 23 points each. It’s not every day that a team makes 17 threes in a game, but Alabama is one of the few offenses able to withstand that kind of scoring from opponents. Alabama’s defense will be something to watch going into conference play.
