12. Texas Longhorns (12-6, 1-4)

Texas had a brutal start to the SEC play. The Longhorns took on three straight ranked opponents before finally knocking off Oklahoma on the road this week for the team's first conference win of the season. Texas dropped its next game by 24 at Florida. Texas still has an outside chance to make the NCAA Tournament, but with how bad the Longhorns have been on defense, it might be tough to pick up many wins in the SEC.

11. Georgia Bulldogs (14-4, 2-3)

Georgia couldn't take advantage of a struggling Tennessee team or an Auburn team missing its best player, dropping both games this week. Georgia might be better than its spot in these power rankings because of how good the Bulldogs have been on defense. Georgia has given up more than 70 points twice in conference play, but with an offense that can’t score the ball, the margin of error is super thin for the Bulldogs.

10. Vanderbilt Commodores (15-3, 3-2)

This is Vanderbilts best record after five SEC games since the 2011-12 season. That year, the Commodores started 4-1 and finished the season by winning the SEC tournament. Vanderbilt picked up its biggest win of the season by beating No. 6 Tennessee by one point on Saturday. Mark Byington has done an incredible job turning this program around in his first year and only needs one more SEC win to equal what last season's team did.
