03. Kentucky Wildcats (14-4, 3-2)
Kentucky nearly knocked off a hot Alabama team on Saturday, falling to the Crimson Tide 102-97. The Wildcats will need to figure out how to stop some of the top offenses in the country if they expect to the SEC title. Kentucky is currently the worst defense in the conference, but scoring nearly 90 points per game has saved the Wildcats since the start of conference play. If Mark Pope figures out the defense, there is no stopping this team.
02. Alabama Crimson Tide (15-3, 4-1)
Since the start of SEC play, the Crimson Tide have averaged 91 points per game, which is incredible considering Alabama only scored 64 points in the loss to Ole Miss earlier in the week. Mark Sears has finally hit his scoring rhythm and has scored 22 or more points in four of five SEC games. The Tide will most likely take a couple more losses, but teams will need to score a ton of points to do so.
01. Auburn Tigers (17-1, 5-0)
Not many teams can lose a player like Johni Broome and still be the best team in the country. The Tigers have a couple of close wins as of late, but Auburn also beat a really good Mississippi State team by 22 points this week.
Auburn is the last unbeaten SEC team through five conference games, and as long as the Tigers keep winning, it will be hard to knock them from the top spot.
